Holley 2bbl throttle cable bracket question

Wow. That's a pretty broad swath of applications: "Fits all 2 bbl or 4 bbl carburetors."

Thats what Im using on my 4 bbl the past several years. Been wanting to upgrade to a Lokar setup but havent got around to it yet.

This is what I used on my 2bbl log setup,

I built my own cable mounting bracket. Uses 2 bolts on the carb base.

I bought a budget cable throttle kit from Speedway Motors. Cable broke second time out to the track.

I replaced the broken cable with a motorcycle clutch cable (used) from an independent cycle repair shop for a thicker stronger cable.

Throttle Works well now

When I put my CI 2-V adapter and Autolite 2100 on my 200 large log, I used a Lokar cable. I made the cable bracket (mounted on the engine block) from some 3" 3/16" flat mild steel, and the throttle return spring bracket (mounted on a carb nut) from some thin angle steel, predrilled with many holes. After the initial time of making the brackets, the setup worked well.
