Vacuum for PVC valve and Master Power Booster Brake options

Installing a C.I. Aluminum Head and Intake Manifold.

Question regarding the Vacuum for PVC valve and Master Power Booster Brake options.

how is everybody getting vacuum for the PVC valve and the Master Power Booster Brake (if any)? I know the Classic Inlines Intake Aluminum Manifold has a port for vacuum. I need 18Hg for the Power Booster Brake, can I use the same port for the PVC valve?. Meaning, can I use a Y-fitting in order to supply vacuum to the PVC valve and the Master Power Booster Brake from the Aluminum Intake Manifold at the same time? anyone has this set up? The 2100 Autolite Carb (2V) has a nipple port that I'm going to use to supply vacuum to the DUI distributor in my setup. Other than that, I don't see any other choice than creating a new port on the intake manifold or perhaps drilling a hole in the 2V carburetor adapter plate. Thanks.

 Hi Ray.Check out the "Help"section at your local parts store. They just might have what you need.Or go to the local junk yard and check out the engines for a vacuum fitting that goes in the intake manifold.Should be able to find one on an old inline six.Might have several different barbs for different size vacuum lines.Just cap off the unneeded ones.
Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.

Run the PCV to the carb adapter if you can then the brake booster to the port in the manifold. If that isn't feesable a tee at the manifold port will work. Vacuum may drop below 18hg during WOT but then you won't need the brake boost at that point anyway.

Good advice always take the pcv on the carburetor connection or the adapter.
That way you will prevent leaning a cylinder on a leg close to one intake port or runner.
