Hey guys,

Have finally got the old girl running again, link below is a quick youtube clip of it running after cam break in.

https://youtu.be/eLL32a7krGY

Have got a couple of things to finish this week and will hopefully get it on the road this weekend, will try to get some better videos then.

The cam break in went without a hitch and I was surprised at how well it idles considering I have not done any tuning at all yet, should be able to smooth it out with some mixture changes and setting the timing. At the moment its pulling 12" of vacuum at 850rpm

 congrats it sounds great! (y)
yes, this bloke's got it together. Some time/money/thought invested!
Any time sheets yet? LOVE to hear how it runs (1/8, 1/4 mi, etc).

No time sheets unfortunately, a long way from a drag strip at this end of the world. Once I've got it run in I'm hoping to get it on a dyno and see what the ol' girl can do

Yeah!
That'ill B great!
Can;t wait, plez keep us informed!

Another short youtube clip below for anyone that's interested, still got a fair bit of tuning to do but it's running pretty well at the moment. I shift at 5500 rpm in this clip, will stretch that to 6500 rpm when I've put a few miles on it.

I was a bit worried about how it would run with this cam but it's an absolute pussy cat. idles at 750 rpm and pulls cleanly from just over 1000 rpm, no need to slip the clutch or anything like that (mind you the 4.1:1 rear axle helps out here)

Cheers

 very nice and it sure does pull good so that must be a very good combo of parts!
