I bought a 170 out of a 1970 maverick on craigslist that has been disassembled. The main thing I wanted it for was the rotating accessories up front and to have a tear down motor for my son to learn on. ( He is 17 and the engine internals were the only thing we didn't get into on his early 65 Mustang since they were solid). So now I am trying to figure out how the belts should route. The engine has a 4 groove crank pulley, a single groove alternator pulley, a single groove water pump pulley and a double groove compressor pulley. The car did not have power steering. The compressor/alternator bracket also has an idler pulley up top by the compressor to adjust the tension on that belt. When lining everything up it looks like there should only be 3 belts not 4. Since I haven't seen one put together I am a little lost and looking for a guidance.

Thanks,

Kevin
