Cleanup porting is done and all of my parts are here. Next step is to CC the chambers so I know how much has been milled off, and then the valve job.

"...The head is ready for the machine shop…"

did you DIY the unshrouded valves, or use machinist & are scheduling a return 'visit'/?
what equp. was used if DYI?

HI, so far done in the driveway, I used a carbide burr in the die grinder first and then a porting kit with cartridge rolls from Eastwood. I have an exhaust port divider to weld in. Thanks.

U Go B Ron!
Thanks for the reply ~

I spent about 50 hours on my 250 headwork. Took lots of material off. To do it right for maximum flow that's what it takes.

thnxs hotrod.

There is a point of over-doing too.

@ some point (after alot more knowlege) I will tackel my
"M" head. I've seen a few examples on here and this is my 1 source
for any thing abt this process - due to the pic. I see books, listen to
(non ford 6 ) guys w/experience, use the Handbook & now thnx to
Perry (& others?) I can cont. 2 peruse CI. But folks like B Ron, Seth,
CNC, who put up pic & respond to Qs I'll get there in the not too distant future.
They helped me do a carb rebuild (something I'd never have taken on) that
helped me cont. w/an income & soon I can step up to this...

Hi, I just have about 4 or5 hours into it. This is light clean up. I'll look at it again after the new guides are in.
