VALVE SPRINGS ALUMINUM HEAD, INSTALLED HT

Started looking into assembly of my aluminum CI head.
Cant find info guessing valve HT should be set at 1.68 but with a spring seat and shimming Spring installed HT becomes 1.6.
Just want to be sure looking into using some beehive springs instead of dual springs.

I told Mike many times to install longer valve to accommodate higher spring heights.
WARNING do not cut the intake spring pad, it is very thin there & you will find yourself into the intake port.

Wish that Mike had the longer valves when I bought the standard length pro flows...I will have to use up what I have first.

Matt @ Vintage Inlines needs to get with progress @ offer .090" longer valves. Of course one would have to shim up the rocker arms & install longer pushrods.
I battled the same deal with Mike & he just ignored me.
You have to keep up with the times. Especially since the CI head will flow up to .600". lift.
