I think it was Xctasy who had a post with a link to a video with that white 60? Falcon race car. I think they were running in a nostalgic class maybe in Australia. The driver was on the right side threading his way through traffic with a 3 carbed 170. Cool video, and just wanted to show it to some friends chuckeling at my 6 cyl Maverick project.

the above youtube seems what U seek- a 170 w/280 HP sounds abt right;

notice w/the 3 weber 48s (@ 2v each) - the intake has it so each cyl has one of those v to itself!

* Doesn't XRWagon, a member here, have some hop-up info for ya.
* How bout state side w/Powerband?
* a few yrs have forged rods & I think pistons (CZLN6) can inform…

I seem to remember the best head has a 'kidney shaped' comb. chamber…
 
Thanks guys. The U tube link got it. Not currently building a 170-rather a 250, but many personal events have sidelined my efforts.
Just a cool video to share when talking six cylinder project.
More latter-the sun is shinning on a warm Iowa winter day on the farm.
