I haven't cranked her over yet, I put a stock '65 200 cam in my '63 170 block. Everything went in fine, valve lash has been correctly set and double checked.

Will this cam swap have any issues?

If the camshaft from the 65 is a solid lifter camshaft no problems. CZLN6 can give you a more pinpoint date when ford went to all hydraulic lifters.

Hi, I don't know if there will be a fuel pump issue, but certain years get certain fuel pumps. Valve lash is set on a warmed up engine. I wouldn't bolt down the valve cover until the valves are checked again. Break in the cam and don't let it just idle with you mess with the ignition timing and carb. Good luck

Did you get the 200 cam broke in and test drove yet? If so did you notice an improvement in engine performance over your old 170 cam? Good luck  (y)
