200 D8 head. 2v conversion. Full treatment. Milled .075.
Will have mild-moderate cam. Something like a 264. Will have DSII, headers. Zero decked block. Probably stock dished style pistons.
Compression should be right about 9.5. I live at 6000 feet so I'll use flat top pistons if it seems like a good idea. Don't want to get carried away but again, 6000 feet, and I can get 91 octane.
Will end up with a T-5 and 3.73 gears.
I want a relatively civilized idle but lots of low end torque. Stop light to stop light. Zero to the speed limit as quick as want.
The carb I found is a 1.08 Autolite. I wanted a 1.14. should I continue the search for 1.14 or is 1.08 good for my build and elevation?
