Anyone have a recommendation on a good set of performance plug wires?
This is for a DSii, MSD Box and TFI coil.

I have been using MSD 8.5's. But, I have never changed them. Even with the new build. I heard quality of MSD has gone down.

Matt sent me some "wires" frm Vintage Inlines dot com.
8 or 9 mm, sprial core, correct length, yedaha, yedaha...

Marco, i still use MSD wires, but i have the proper crimping tools to make the job easy. Make sure your coil wire ends are both female cause the TFI & cap are both male terminals.
For $90.00 you can get Performance distributors wires in several colors. Matt carries them. Bill

I don't want to put anyone's product down. But, $90 for a set of 8mm wires with 300-350 ohms per foot resistance is kinda pricey.

I have to contact Moroso about the resistance per foot. But, they have a 8mm for $18.97. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mor-9085m

MSD has a 8.5mm wire, with a 40-50 ohm resistance per foot, for the livewires price.

I will also contact Magnecor, they will customize them for you, and find a price. http://www.magnecor.com/

Thanks for the input. I will post what information I find.

Magnecor responded to my request:

"Price should be around $67.10 for 8mm and $104.50 for the KV85 wires, plus Priority Paid post $13.65"

I am still waiting for Moroso.

I used to make custom wires with NAPA Echlin wires and end terminals. I also have a good crimping tool (y)

The Moroso falcon six wires 8mm made in the USA @ the very reasonably price of less than $20. They give you coil wires for both canister and tfi type coils. I have these wires and no complaints. That latest review is mine, and I never review products. They're spark plug wires, they're cheap and they're made and tested here in the good ol USA (y)

Thanks Seth.

Moroso replied and said the wires are 350 ohms per foot. So, these are a way better deal than Livewires.

Magnecore also replied:
"The KV85 will be the best choice for your system.

Suggest you measure the wire and coil lengths so that no wire is touching another.
Straight HEI distributor boots might be tidier on that cap, with a 90 degree HEI boot both ends of coil wire.
A picture would help.
Your can choose your spark plug boot."
