66 falcon wagon

Hi, X2. The early Ford six could have a large or small bellhousing, with a high mount starter. The V 8 could have a 5 or 6 bolt bellhousing with a low mount starter, which won't fit the 6 cylinder. The C 4 could be case fill or pan fill. The bellhousing comes off of C 4 trannies, so if you have the wrong bellhousing you can switch it. Get the Ford Falcon Performance Handbook to learn about bellhousing choices and get the most out of your Ford 6. Good luck

Yes
Six to six then...
I understand later yrs have some advantages tho (better valve body?).
May B research that so when U swap U up grade simeltaniously - no need for drop later?

One difference is that the Mustang C4’s used a floor shifter. So you might want to check the trans shifter arm (some will have both types) is able to be used with a column shifter if you need to keep that feature. Good luck (y)
