Exhaust ideas?

So deciding to re run the exhaust on my car after swaping in the 4-speed and i was thinking should i completely run the duals all the way out the back or run a y pipe and run a single 3 inch out the back. also does anyone have a good idea of a location to place an exhaust hanger in the middle of the body underneath since the originals were only on the manifold and after the rear axle?
 
Suitable location for the muffler(s) and hangers is a challenge on early roundbody's with the shallow subframe- underpan and offset fuel tank . I run true dual outs from longtube Hookers' exiting ahead of rear wheels for simplicity . Uses only generic 2" tubing , SS flex fittings, pre formed bends and rubber hangers to keep engine torque from loosening things. Used 'Smithy' glasspaks on performance six Comet and two stock 6cyl mufflers on 63 driver for quiet cruising. The Smithy's do not drone as typical glasspaks can.
