viewforum.php?f=3

(our forum for more of those) altho it's more populated by those from "Down Under" than "South of the Border".
I think I remember ur last visit when U left us a vid of a few of your local racers, no?

Good info fakundo. Are those heads easy to find?

good question, fakundo you might be able to make some extra money selling those heads here in the states. i would suggest getting a hold of matt at vintage inlines and perhaps set up a pipeline to him. it might be easier for you that way so you get your money, and he can make a profit on them as well.

you will have to also ship up intakes for the heads as well, and matt can come up with a header package for them once here.

check out www.vintangeinlines.com for contact information.

 those are really nice looking heads sure would like to try one on a build. (y)

If there is in my country, there is a factory that makes them, and if the original is not used as well, they get it but they ask for a lot of money for one of them.
The new ones are between 500 and 750 dollars. I think it's much cheaper for us, jaja.
I think these decilindro heads are very similar to those you can get in your country. They are casting, for competition the fastest cars use aluminum that also sell here approximately for 1250 dollars

How much does an aluminum cylinder head for a 200 Ford in the United States? I have no idea

These cylinder heads are also often seen in my country. they are the original heads with the submarine cut and modified
and a plenum is mounted

https://www.vintageinlines.com/product- ... ad-package

a lill more than 2X ur local one. It's shipped w/a pallet of others or in a 'container' of them frm Down Under to USA (then onto central USA as well?). I think it fits both 200/3.3 and 250/4.1, not sure bout the 170, probably not 144; defiantly not our 2 "big 6" the 240 & 300/4.9.
The man on that site has them cast for 'our club' over there. This site was started by his predecessor who developed it (Classic Inlines) before dying just a yr or so ago, AzCoupe/Mike W.

As u may know we have siamesed 3 / 4 exh. ports. I C that on 1 of ur pic viewing the 'pipes', exhaust "tubes", headers, or whatever named. The intake is also spaced differently than the Argie. However this "VI" alu head'n separate intake is spaced for our 1960 - 1983 small 6.

We have a nice publication abt these motors (less on what we C as the 2 variations - Argentina Ford "SP" iron & aluheads and the 250 2v Iron head frm Australia, but still included). It's called "The Ford Falcon 6 Cyl Performance Handbook" available on that site link above. Also some interesting info avail by clicking at the above big blue box w/the crossed screwdriver/wrench 'tech archive'.

This is interesting because if you have fairly good fabrication skills you can get rid of the log and mount a high flow plenum. Submarine cut.
We have guys here that cut off the log also but not too many I think.

If these engines are modified a lot here. There are categories of circuit and drag. Here I leave the best known of Argentina called "300 free" drag, are 250m and 6 cylinders or 8 cylinders.

This is awesome information- much appreciated!

Can you link to any companies that specialize in the heads/performance parts?

Also, I've seen photos of folks that have modified the block to install roller cams- do you have any information about that?

Thanks!
-Gus

Yes, I should look for the rodills
, what do you refer to when you say "Can you link to any companies that specialize in the heads / performance parts?" Sorry for my english jaja. You say if I can contact the people of Argentina who make these cylinder heads?

If that is your question, if I can
If you need any information, I have no problem looking for it.
measurements, dimensions.

I am interested in having information about this engine.
I think that the adjustment of the camshaft is similar to what we have here in the SP. If anyone can give me more data I thank you very much

the camshaft of my engine is unu sp. it has 272º of permanence, 108º of between center and 7mm of height in the camon

I gave U the link in my number 8 post above. Click on the one with vintage inlines in the link name.

"...custom grind..."
inexpensively too!
Get English speaker to talk to them (Jerry) frm ur place on phone
/OR/
ask if they have Spanish speaker there (less likely, I never found 1 there).

U will need 2 explain which of the 2 heads is used (Jerry may B familiar) but with specific measurements/needs.
His dad (Jerry) and the son R very knowledgable and can discuss advantages to different customizing. If things go well
he could do batches of them for multiples of different racers & ship all at once reducing costs (termed "mass buy" here).

Keep talkin, Good luck~

It was a Clay Smith cam. I bet it's this one or one very similar:

https://www.vintageinlines.com/product-page/274-274-108-hydraulic-cam

Schneider Cams makes even more aggressive profiles and will custom grind one to your specs or give you their best recommendation,

thank you very much that's what I was looking for ,
I'm going to practice improving my english jaja my intention is to exchange information in the forum
