Whats the difference between the RBS off a 200, 250 and 300?

My 250 came with an RBS that had been sitting in a shed on the coast for a couple years. Everything on it is froze.

Im debating on tossing it in a can of carb cleaner and seeing if it can be saved.

Anyway, I saw a couple RBSs on 300s in the pull-a-part for $30 and wondered how they differ from the small six version.

Howdy Georgia:

I don't think that the Carter RBS was ever used on a 200 from FoMoCo. I hope that helps.

yeah 1 ford model '70 - 74 I believe.
Getting info on these is kinda hard 4 me (even wrkin @ a parts house) so I often
go on-line to Mike's Carbs'n just wrk my way around there. I learned differences between the
ford'n AMC bout 2 or 3 yrs ago thru that approach. Only thing I dont like is the RBS hasa pressed in
jet, tough to change - but what the heck - it wuz made for my 250, justa few yrs later (got the '69 too). Ina
bronk I'll B interested ta C how it duz in the gradients (side ta side, frnt to rear, not seen on the st where it wuz made 4).
