Lifter Bleed Down

Hey fellas,
Had to go out for work for a couple of months, and no one cranked up my Bronco. Cranked it last night, and had a nasty tap from one of the back cylinders. I let it run for about 15 seconds, shut it down, waited five minutes, and did it again. Did that three times and it quieted down and got right, took it down the road a couple of miles and back with no noises and no issues. Before the rebuild I did last year, I had solid lifters, these are hydraulic. Im not sure how to troubleshoot this, which I am assuming is a lifter issue, or if I just make sure the truck doesn't sit for too long without being cranked. Got the lifters and cam from Schneider. I sure as hell don't feel like jerking the head right now....

Run 10W-30 oil & install a motorcraft oil filter.
Not a big deal, just need to get oil to the lifters sooner after sitting.
