Cam Kits

Y choose that one?
What will ur compression B?
What will 80% of the driving RPM be?
What octane gas?
WHat is the specific driving application/condition/need?

Many of us get a '69 - '71 chain/gear for our 250 and retard 4*
for low rev oomph...

Hi, I got the comp cam 252H. I am happy with it, but I also got a 2 barrel carb and now my engine can breath.
It is much better than the old Crane cam from the 90's, but probably too mellow for many guys. I have a 66 Bronco and I don't go over 4200 RPM.
The timing chain set it WRONG for the engine so you MUST degree the cam and use the timing chain set from Vintage Inline.
Good luck

Chad to get more low end you advance the camshaft.
Call Jerry at Schneider Cams & he will advise you on the proper camshaft for you six.

"...advance the camshaft..."
correct !

All Ways degree any set U start w/new...

What ever cam you get degree it in.
Schneider comes close to straight up.
Clay Smith cams come straight up.
Comp Cams come 4 degrees advanced. The 250H & the 260H are an antiquated profile.
Stock Ford cams are antiquated junk.
