170 & 200 Connecting Rods

In need of some connecting rods for a ‘68 200 I’m putting together, I bought a 170 a while back, wondering if I can use those connecting rods.
I know the 170 has a shorter stroke, however, according to the Classic Inlines spec page the 170 and the 200 both use the same dimension rods. Can someone confirm this? Will 170 rods work in a 200?

Not looking for anything high performance, just want to get this put together.

Yes they should be the same lenght check the casting numbers on those 170 Rods. Good luck

X2, and all 170 rods are forged , some later 200 are cast...Your rods should be forged but a lot can happen over this many years.
Just make sure that you do not mix cast rods or the cast lighter pins with the forged rods and heaver pins...Balance will be off.
