1962 Falcon road trip

Post #1 by Crosley » Fri Oct 12, 2018 10:18 pm

I took my 62 Falcon out and about. A road trip to clean out the cob webs so to speak. I rev'd up the 200 cid inline 6 a bit on the 1 - 2 shift. I had to lift off the throttle for the shift to 3rd gear. I had already exceeded the posted speed limit of 45. Apologies for the unsteady video shot.

I hope this You tube link works:

That's gotta be satisfying. No misfires or skips all the way up. Sounds nice and tight!

 the Falcon sounds great Crosley!
A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.
