Is it possible to make an 1965 XP falcon handle well?

yes it is if you have a welder and some good steel make up some subframe connecters upgrade to disk brakes polly bushings and 14 by 7 wheels or 15 by 7 or 8 wheels

Dennis - you could also post this on "Early Falcons" Yahoo group, to see what some of the guys have to say. Bear in mind that several members have suffered trying to get a cool look without due consideration of suspension needs.

A definite must is some travel in the front springs. It's of no benefit if the bump stops are de facto suspension themselves.

For high-end gear, check out the TCP front end components. Expect to pay $2500 or so in Oz by the time they're on your doormat.
