Do you have the pics of that green '64 fairlane wagon, the one with the chrome reverse wheels? I need to get a look at it.

thanks deebo, the dude that owns the car is on the HAMB but I can't remember his handle. I bought a camaro bumper for my ranchero at a swap the other day, and that car has one.

Sedanman is here :) if only for a moment- going out of town soon so I won't be around much for awhile. I put the falcon to sleep for the winter today- the rains came just as I was washing it so no spin around the block :? I have a feeling in my gut I won't have it this time next year, but we've already been there.....Nope, I don't have any pics of the 'lane wagon, although I know the one you're speaking of.

Darin- Keep in mind that I don't think fairlane front suspension parts interchange with mustang/falcon ones, although they're similar. But if you're just after tips on bagging I'd love to hear more  Seeya

That is what i am thinking . I want to do it, just not sure i should..
Must decide on the power plant before i do the suspension.

I know of a 61 with bags on the front but he had no idea how it was done. That has been a while too.

i will get to the bottom of how to do it without the Mustang front end..

Of course you should :D It's just a matter if you can without using the shockwave. One of the techs at Air Ride tech told me a customer used shockwaves for an early riviera up front on an early falcon, but those are about $800 a pair  The Air Lift company (not air ride technologies) has a spinoff company ( can't remember the name but you'll find it if you go to Air Lift's home page) that makes a set up for the early chevy nova- by looking at it I think it could be easily adapted to our cars, and it's cheaper than the Air Ride tech shockwaves. The trickier part is the back- I measured using the dimensions they gave me, and I don't think Air Ride's rear leaf spring setup will fit our cars - a custom rear crossmember would be needed and you'd (or I'd ) have to lose the transverse rear muffler that I had installed up tight into the floorpan so the exhaust would not scrape. We just need someone here to break from the ranks of the tried and true to give it a go

Deebo, I think I remember that guys handle, but I haven't seen his name pop up on the hamb in a while. Remember 63Ranchero who had the tripower equipped ranchero, I'll have to send him over here and get some answers. Also on this board, 62Fairlane170's signature says his car has airbags.

send him on over. Is his truck white??

Also.. was there a thread on the HAMB about Falcons recently. I tred to find it but was unable to locate the board.

Deebo, I sent him a private message, I don't know if he'll see it though. Yeah his truck is white. There was a falcon thread on the hamb about a week ago, but with the exponently expanding membership and bullshit posts, it's been pushed way back. If i get bored sometime I'll dig it up (search function never works).

here's the link to the HAMB
