Monte carlo bar for sixes

Post #1 by Sedanman » Wed May 26, 2010 5:15 am

Who is it that sells the bar with the bend in the right place for the 6 with a 1 bbl carb? Years back I found them on a website that sold mustang racing parts, but I've forgotten the name of it.

IIRC at one time they also made a under the engine bar that tied the frame rails at the motor mount pads.

I've already got one - pulled it off a '63 wagon years ago in a junk yard.

Sorry for the delay in response - been busy! Will take a pic soon, although I don't think this board allows direct attachment of photos.

Thad,

The Engine Brace was standard on the V8 falcons. You can order them from Falconparts http://www.falconparts.com/1960-1965+UNDER+ENGINE+BRACE+-+V-8.html
P/N UEB1 $61.95
