Not sure exactly what part you need. If I can rob one from my stuff you are welcome to it.

These parts goes inside the automatic shift collar. It goes in the bottom before the shift lever is placed in the socket. It is what makes the have spring action to pull the shift lever towards you to go from park to any gear.Wanted to find a complete one I guess the are hard to come by. Thanks again Ken N.

There used to be a separate kit available with the detent spring and retainer parts. Good thing is that most any Ford or Mercury all the bodylines in a range of years will use those same parts might have to take some time hunting in the junkyard. Strangely I used to love Junkyard hunts and would look for any excuse to go and roam around in them, don’t know what that sickness is called or the cure unless it lots of excess money.

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.

Can it be removed without removing the column? If so, I will try to pull mine out and ship it. :) I'm using the long shifter sticking out of the floor now and haven't removed the auto shifter yet.
