Getting close to bringing the Ranchero home.

Post #1 by RandyMac » Tue Oct 04, 2011 11:26 am

Been at the paint shop for a month. It has been a minor ordeal, it is our only car. I think it is bedliner day today.

Now that will be bright out in the sun next summer  Looks great
A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.

Yay, another yellow Ranchero!

Wow, your yellow is WAY brighter than my stock "Tucson Sunlight" (or whatever its name is...)
James - '62 Ranchero (200cid), '71 LeSabre (464cid)

The ONLY safety device we need is a 6" sharpened steel spike bolted to the center of the steering wheel of EVERY vehicle.
Emergency Rooms and Funeral Homes will be busy for a week or so, then I predict a dramatic drop in vehicle accidents.

Thanks guys, I love yellow cars.
Picked it up today, now we get to put everything back on, just in time for a local car show.

Still need to get some of the trim on, waiting on payday for new clips. Found some fake wire wheel covers off a '78 Galaxy for $20 at the wrecking yard. Took a trip up to Washington, put almost 1300 miles of road under the tires, about half of that in one day.
