Our new to us 64 Falcon

Post #1 by EdFalcon 64 » Sat Dec 17, 2011 3:03 pm

Here is our new to us 64 Falcon. She is stock as a rock 70,000 orginal miles, 2 speed Auto, 14 inch steel rims with bias ply tires (got to get rid of those). Everything works, including the AM Radio and Lighter. Needs a small patch on the drivers floor, the bumpers rechromed and some work on the drivers seat.

Here are the link to the pics (too big to load here)

Looks like a solid and quite straight car  nice
A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.

Thanks! The car is super straight. The lady we purchased the car from bought it from the orginal owner 20 years ago and only put 3000 miles on it in those 20 years. Other than a few minor updates; pertronix and maybe a chrome valve cover and air cleaner (sucker for chrome) we are going to restore it back to original...but then again..

You need the Ford Six Performance Handbook that has been discussed on another recent string. It can help you restore it plus .... and still look original.
