I guess its a good time as any to finally post about my mustang. It’s always a guessing game when cracking open a 47 year old motor. Sometimes you just get lucky! Picked up my 69 3 years ago, and recently came into a deal on a Aussie head for the I6. Started the disassembly and to my surprise the block was bored 0.30 over. Started disassembly yesterday and got as far as getting the headstuds in and realized i needed to order a few more things to finish up. Here are some pics of how she currently sits. End game is a single turbo 2 years from now. When i got here i tore off just about all the suspension components and replaced with parts from Global West.
Think she sits good.

Re: 69 Mustang project

A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!
I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone!
1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.

Getting closer. Motor is together and did a start up. Running rough. Sure I need a lot of carb adjustments.
