I'm planning to go TBI with a 2bbl holley 670cfm, It's probably too much but I'd rather be over than under, this TB can support 125-275hp, I'm guessing with a 2bbl conversion the TB it will put me over ~140hp. right now, I think I'm hitting 90-100hp.

For the TB, I would like it to be a direct mount, as my head is mostly done to the extreme, I'll be using the same head.

I am planning this for summer 2011,
1) A Complete Suspension & Alignment (Priority)
2) a) Painless wire Kit
2) b) 130 amp 1 wire alt
2) c) Dual Electric Fans
3) Holley TBI kit (last)

Any Idea's/Concerns will be appreciated.

Thanks!
Richard

The 670cfm sounds like way too much to me. It would be better to be smaller than too big. If you run too much cfm you can actually loose power. The rule of thumb I always heard is to take the cubic inches of the engine and double it to get the cfm's needed.

well done more research, you are right, I guess i've been stuck on the 670cfm TB as i have read somewhere some one got a 500cfm carb working perfectly, with mods to manythings to slow the gas consumption, and they got it running even better than a 350cfm.

http://falconperformance.sundog.net/compcalculator.asp
shows that if I had a perect head, the max the engine would pull would still be 354cfm, so a 400cfm TB would be perfect. I guess i have to face realistic facts. hopefully i'll get a reply soon from holley.
