Autolite 1100 Automatic choke question

Post #1 by paul25g » Tue Jun 21, 2011 8:57 am

I've got an Autolite 1100 for my '66 200CID 3-speed manual.

Been looking closer at my carb. The black plastic thermostatic spring housing for the automatic choke has "TO" stamped on it. According to the workshop manual, the housing should have a "TS". Looks like the "TO" was for a 289 originally. Will this cause a problem or does anyone have a "TS" plastic spring housing they'd like to get rid of or trade for?
