Driver side window problem

Post #1 by Gene Fiore » Wed Mar 25, 2009 1:25 am

The driver side window on my 71 Maverick is completely detached from the window mechanism. Where can I get the clips that attach the window to the mechanism and how do you install them? I have no clue on windows! :?

I am looking for those myself. Craig Selvy over on the Maverick Forum has some. He wanted about $12 for 4 of them postpaid. I can help you installing them. There are several tricks but the installattion is a snap.
For right now, you can use toilet seat nylon bolts cut off for an emergency.

PM me and we can go in on a set from Craig.

Any auto glass shop will have the clips.
