fuel sending unit?

Post #1 by vntgtrk » Sat May 17, 2014 7:47 pm

OK it's actually a Granada of '77 vintage. But who makes a fuel level sending unit for these? Do I have to adapt one for a Bronco? the one I have is beyond hope; clogged with rust and the float arm is somewhere in the bottom of the tank

OK so I guess I'm not the only one without a clue as to who makes these. I did find one out of a Fairmont at Pull & Save. The fuel pick up tube is sorter, so I think, after pulling the tank, cleaning it and sealing it up, I'll get a piece of 5/16 braided stainless hose and perform minor surgery
