Hi! I'm new - I have a 56 truck with a 52 - 215 six bored .30 over rebuilt 10 years ago from bottom up - stock though. truck has been driven by my wife about 2,000 miles a year (20,000 total) and is the most reliable of all my Fords!
I'd like to pull the truck apart and redo it and would like to keep the six but add a little spice and change from the slushbox automatic to a stick.
Anyone out there with some ideas? New intake/card? What transmissions will bolt up to it? Will a vintage air compressor bolt-on? Power steering modification (Toyota box)?
Any help would be appreciated.
