Edmunds Flathead Ford 6 Intake

I was wondering about this intake as the base for the carbs are angled, what was the purpose for this? This isn't the first one that I have seen this way and am curious about it. Was wondering how they would run on a car or truck this way or if a person would need any modifications.

It's not really angled when bolted to the engine in the car. It won't need any mods to work other than carb linkage. :nod:
