My friend is asking about a cam for his 223. Where should he go?
In the last couple days I read a post about Falcon wagons and it had a link to a station wagon forum but I can't find it. If you know it can you let me know?
Thanks

I am also looking for a cam . when I find one I will let you know . As for station wagons there used to be one in past google long roof

You can get your cam core reground at Schneider cams is a company thats been around many years, there are probably other company's that could do it. There were also some Hi ratio rocker arms made not sure of the name brand but sometimes new sets of 6 have been on Evilbay. Somewhere in my parts stash have a couple sets of the rockers and a bunch of other 223 hot rod parts to dig out sell off. Good luck

Thanks bubba- I will let my friend know. I saw some of those high lift rockers on ebay awhile back.

John Hummert will reground your old cam to 256-264 for $95
Also has some other good stuff! T-5 adaptors!

Edit : You bumped a 8 year old post? lololol
good one to bump. I'm getting ready to slap a 223 in my '59 f100. If I like it, I have a stuck spare engine that's never been bored. Good candidate for a horsepower bump.

Agreed ---^

Also see Delta Camshafts and Wilhoits Camshafts (Oklahoma City) for re-grinds. I had Willhoits re-grind a cam for my otherwise stock 223 and it has good power.
