48 ford f1

Has anyone installed a ford 300 in one of these trucks? Mine has original flathead 6 226h ,4spd, runs good but low oil pressure,want to swap out for 300,let me know,Thanks

I haven't, but if you send me the truck, I certainly will. And I'd even let you know how it drives :rolflmao:
In all seriousness though, I thought I had a line on a '48 about 3 weeks ago and then then seller up and vanished.

I haven't done that swap but think it should be fairly easy if you can or know someone who could weld up some motor mounts. Since this form is for the older six'es you might get more responses in the the 240 / 300 big six forum too. Good luck
