Torque Specs

This from a Ford manual I have.
These values apply to 226 Six and Flathead V8s

Cyl. Head Nuts Alum. Read 35-40
Con. Rod Nuts Castellated 35-40
Con. Rod Nuts Self-locking 40-45
Main Bearing Nuts & Bolts 80-90
Flywheel Capscrew self-locking 80
Flywheel Capscrew wired 65-70
Spark Plugs 25-30
 
It's a 48 motor going into a 41 tudor. I got the bellhousing and test fit it on my trans and it mated perfectly. Just need a flywheel and clutch.
 
Hi, I would plasti gauge the bearings for optimum clearance, rather than just go by a torque spec. You might be surprised at how clearance is good at the low range of torque spec and gone at the high end of torque spec. Good luck
