BONNEVILLE LSR ATTEMPT - Vintage Ford six

Post #1 by THE FRENCHTOWN FLYER » Wed Aug 15, 2018 12:58 pm

I am following this team's LSR attempt with a Vintage Ford inline six. Very interesting, especially in view of the fact that it is going on right now, with real time updates.

I am not connected with the effort. Enjoy

Thanks for reminding me FF, I hadn't checked yet today. I've been following John since he was first looking for a 262 block. It's a great story. They didn't set a record but had a very successful first outing. I hope he continues to keep us up to date as cylinder number 4 has had an interesting history and I'd like to know what he finds.

I read some of it on the HAMB. Its a nice truck.
The #4 cylinder had a second ring installed upside down.
