Can't say, don't number codes for the crank but that number is different to what I've seem on cast crank.

Quick check is look at the parting line betwee the striking dies (forged) o molds (cast)

The cast parting line is very, very narrow also as thin as a pocket knike blade.

The forgeed parting line is wide, 3/8 to 1/2" and will have grinding marks where the parting line was trimmed.

the guy that was trying to sell it to me pointed out those parting lines and they look like 1/4 to 3/8" he said it was forged according to those parting lines (he worked at a machine shop, but i would like to know for sure before i buy it.)

Yes that IS a forged crank part number. Others had a C6TE-6303-G number.

GRAB IT! And give him a six-pack to boot.
