distributor

I snapped the screw holding the cap on the distributor on my 96 f-150 4.9. I have it on there now, kind of jimmy rigged but working. I might junk my old 91 f-150 4.9. Does anyone know if the distributor is interchangeable on a 91 and 96 4.9? The 96 doesn't seem to have an ignition control module? Instead it has an electrical connection in the same spot.
Thanks

Thanks. I couldn't remember what years are interchangeable.
