the language used in the article seems kind of telling to me. numbers don't seem to add up, ambiguous and improper terms are used, ect.

hmm, interesting.

seems to be a fairly scholarly article, i mean, there is at least some technical discussion. I'm sure the inventor doesn't want to be too forthcoming especially if the 'man' is trying to keep him out of business.

it sounds to me like an inverter start tig machine, basically instead of a single pulse event you have a 'high frequency start' so to speak, with a high frequency AC plasma thingamaggier

MSD has built an entire business off of much less, same basic idea as far as the engine is concerned, a sustained 'multi spark' event instead of a singular spark.

i thought Ford's goofy long spark plug thing was already doing something like this? maybe an urban legend?
