I think they just made the 1BBL-2BBL adapter from 2 wood blocks from the way it looks.

same guy has a Offy DP intake and holly carb combo ending about the same time bids are at $53 right now

I know. They probably don't know what it is. I do not need one, but I thought I'd pass it along.

Did Someone here get it?

Looks like it sold for $122. I didn't buy it, but I did buy a clean Edelbrock 300 intake locally yesterday for $100.

I tried for it.
A bad day Drag Racing is still better than a good day at work!

I am still hunting for a project car to build but with my current low budget it's not looking so good. My Ex- Fleet of Sixes these are all long gone! :bang: 1954 Customline 223 3 speed with O/D, 1963 Fairlane project drag car with BB6, 1977 Maverick 250 with C4, 1994 F-150 a 300 with 5 speed.

There is something VERY strange going on on EBAY with the bidding.

If you look at the bids for that intake they went up for Hours before the end.

I watched in for Its last 5 mins. it was showing $40 till it had 30 seconds to go.

A lot of people do aution sniping where the sniping program puts your bid in at the very last second.

What I saying is that as i watched the clock count down, it stayed at $40 down into the last min.
Then when i look at the bids there were $100 2 hours before the end.

I'm saying Ebay is not posting the higher price to keep more people enticed and possibly to bid.

I do not think that is the case. As someone else stated above, there are programs out there that allow you to place a "phantom" bid that is applied a few seconds before the auction is over... this "sniping" the other bidders. Other bidders never see you bid and therefor cannot out bid you.

Also, there may be a "refresh" issue here as well. As you look at an auction, your internet browser "caches" the data. Many websites do not update in real time.
