Crankshaft keyway

Post #1 by worken2much » Thu Mar 22, 2018 4:26 pm

Folks,

A little confusion here. I've read posts regarding use of a longer Chevy crankshaft key in the 300 crank for the harmonic balancer. Can someone please advise a Chevy key part number? Or a year & motor size?

I'm at the machine shop now and looking at a sbc crank. It has two short woodruff keys. What gives?

Thank you,
Worken2much
