300 track/barely streetable build

Post #1 by Redrocket » Tue May 29, 2018 7:32 pm

I have a 1981 f150 short bed with the stepside. Also has a wood bed. I got another vehicle for mpg and now want to make this into a track truck but still be able to drive it around town a little. Could you guys help me make a all out build list for the motor. Possible help other newcomers with the same plans as well. I absolutely do not car about mpg I only want it to scare the crap out of me and drop some jaws when the see the numbers made at the track were done by an ol 300. I don't know a single guy at the track I go to that runs a 300 so it'll be a real eye candy for everyone. Money's not to much of an issue for this I've been saving for it and will continue to. Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you want a naturally aspirated engine or a turbocharged or a supercharged engine?
