When i freshen up my motor im switchingto a solid lifter cam is possible to do priority main oiling like they do sb fords if sois there a set of instructions or a video
99.5 F350 lowered air ride strong PSD crew cab swb
48 ford coupe cage old school stock car 12.25 to 1 290 cilford cam, cliford 2x2 with webber 38/38,some cool old stock car headers, 240 head with big valves, bbc roller rockers

The oiling is about as close to priority now as your going to get it. It's a simple system that feeds the mains and the lifters at the same time.

The oiling system is very robust. I've had a couple of instances where I lost oil pressure (long stories) and no damage was done when I took things apart to inspect.

On Cleveland engines, you tap and install restrictors between the cam and mains. That is mostly for high RPM usage to maximize oil volume to the mains. Really isn't necessary for below 7000 or 7500 usage, but above that it is beneficial.
