Need set used 240/300 pressed steel rockers

Post #1 by old28racer » Sun Jul 26, 2020 1:57 pm

Anyone out there have a set of good used 240/300 stud mounted pressed steel rockers, balls & nuts that they would part with? Head is a 240 with 3/8 studs, 1.6 ratio. I am just trying to get an old motor running & don't want to buy new until I get it running. I would be glad to pickup postage on Flat Rate Med Box that runs $14 with the USPS mail. Thanks for looking.

In October if there arises no one to help, I will be able to. Currently I'm many miles from home base. And will not be returning there for some time. So, I'm last resort but a possibility for u.

I think Ive got what you need. Came off that 74 240 with an unknown year 84 and older 300 head. 12 arms, balls, and nuts. They appear to be cast or forged, not stamped steel though.

I have a set of 85 pedestal mounts that are stamped and they are completely different looking.
1985 Bronco. 309ci I6, NP435, 4.56 gears, Detroit locker and tru-trac, 4" lift, and 37" swamper tires. The 309 is 9.75:1 CR with a Schneider 140H cam, 4bbl, roller rockers, larger valves, and headers.
