I'm jealous...

Something that I was curious about though, is it possible for you to index your carb hat 180* and bring the tubing around the bank side of the motor. It looks like it'd be a shorter, simpler run. It does depend on the space available though.

Im running a water to air intercooler that attaches to the pipe at the front of the motor, and theres not a lot of room at the back.

Sweet. 8)

I want to see some better pics of those extractors. Please!
I just sent them of to Jet Hot coatings so when they get back ill get some pics. there the ones Jet Hot dirrect supplys,I had to do a little banging and cutting, there not mandrel bent (like there add says they should be !) but there OK.

Can you tell us a little more about the build, is that a square or oval port m90, what will be your drive ratio and estimated boost and what are some of your internals, I'm glad to see another m90 coming up, I think you will be impressed, depending on alot of factors a 2.5.1 should put you at about 8-9 pounds, I ran mine at 2.65.1 and its a little much in the 200, gonna bring it down around 8 psi, absolutely great looking build and can't wait to hear how it runs, I'm getting to excited about another m90 build, lets not forget that great AL head that makes it all possible, compliments of classicinlines.

OK, its a oval port (third generation i think) with a Yellow terra snout extention, 12 counter weight crank from Aussie EF Falcon, ballancer is 6 rid serpintine to match blower, I will be getting a blower pulley made for about a 7 to 8 psi (worried about head gasket if i go to high) 200 rods(6.27 inch) Rover stroker 4.6 forged pistons(made by KB)3.720 inch(comp. dist- 1.195),Classic inline head, oversize valves, 250 crossflow anti-pump up lifters,Crow Cam (i sent my engine specs and this is what they made me) 63689 l/c 112 is 222/230 @ .050" 280/289
advertised .445"/.450" lift hydraulic.186 holden pushrods, yellow terra roller rockers, Classicinline 4 barrel manifold (they also helped me out with the tappit cover,Dissy, leads, various nuts and bolts etc. all packed and shiped really well, THANKS), Mighty deamon 595 blow-through carb, water to air barrell intercooler, bypass valve, plus blow-off valve as a pressure release for safty, MSD 6BTM, C4-2500 stall, alloy radiator, electric water pump and thermo fans. I brought one of the first heads and been slowly getting parts as i have funds and getting real close to being finished, I cant wait.

thats a nice build, but im a little confused about how the electric water pump will work, i see a way for the coolant to get out of the motor but i dont see a way for the coolant to get into the motor.

also, just wonderning why you chose a supercharger rather than a turbocharger?

cheers

I have to cut o hole in the bracket were the waterpump usually goes and fit a water neck like the top radiator hose has. Im waiting till i get pulleys and belt sorted in case i need to have the hoses going the other way.
I went with the supercharger only because there cheap second hand, although with the snout extention it probable works out much the same and i new i could make the brackets at work and get a fellow work mate to make me the pulleys to suit.(and i like the idea of instant boost)

nice work there mate. i see your in Rocky, im about to move my turbo 2v XP and family to Emerald.
Cool,
The only problem with living up here is the heat in summer, It used to play havoc with my tripple SU,s when i was stuck in traffic. Im going with the biggest posible alloy radiator and thermos i can get.

Wow nice fabrication work there, and some trick bits too. A remote elec water pump will leave you room to put a spring loaded tensioner on top of the blower belt too, well thought out project, good luck with it.

2.5.1 should put you at about 8-9 pounds

I wish I was getting 8-9 psi with a 2.5 ratio.
I have been wondering why my combo needs to run a 3.27 pulley ratio to get 9-10 psi (9 with intercooler 10 without).
I only rev this Engine to 4000 rpm as it does not make much more power above this, Its happier low down and using its torque than reving the crap out of it.
I have checked my Bypass valve, Boost gauge, Throttle (made sure it gets wide open), Belt tension and a few other things.
This makes me think my cam may be the problem but I doubt it.
My specs are as follows:
250 XFlow EFI, bored 20 thou, shotpeened rods, Hypertec pistons,(8:1 comp, balanced crank, Crow 14771 cam, Roller rockers, Extractors, 2.5" exhaust, T5 gearbox, 3.23 LSD diff.
Cam specs as follows:
LSA 111
050" duration, I=200 E=205
advertised, I=258 E=262
Lift lobe I=.2644 E=.2721
Lift valve I=.4574 E=.4707
Rocker ratio 1.73

If anyone can shed some light on this I would be greatfull, as it has been bugging me for a few years now.

Crank pulley is 6.9" and supercharger pulley is 2.1".
6.9/2.1=3.28ratio
It has had the drive shaft and snout shortened to fit it were the A/C compressor once lived.
