Turbo projects - could this be used?

Looks like it is a draw-through carb setup. In these the turbo is between the fuel-source and intake, as opposed to a blow through which is before the fuel-source.

From what I remember, they are relatively simple to tune as you don't have to worry about if your carb can accept boost, however because fuel is flowing through the turbo they can be a little... volatile.
IIRC, too much boost, fuel, or heat can lead to having the insides of the turbo on the outside.
 
The turbo seals will have to be able to tolerate gasoline or it will get into the bearing, not good.
The Corvair used this type of carb/turbo setup and has a carbon seal to keep the mixture out.
