how much psi can my 650 quick fuel carb take

I am planing on putting a turbo on my 300-6.an only going to 7 psi. Question is- will my carb handle the boost?

Blow through I presume? A draw-through setup would obviously work since the carb never sees boost. As for if it will hold 7psi, I have no idea. However, you could setup a simple test to find out. Find a way to block off the inlet and outlet of the carb (perhaps with it still mounted to the intake) with a air hose attachment fixed into one end. Pressurize to 7 psi using an air compressor and look for leaks. I did this to test an intercooler, granted it was a bit easier to seal off the ends with couplers and a pvc cap.

Sorry I couldnt help more. Elaborate on your setup and someone might chime in.

Not sure if you have done (or quickfuel did) the necessary mods to get the carb up to par for boost but my Quickfuel 2300 2 barrel regularly sees 20psi and Im pretty sure this is nothing compared to what it could handle. With the right mods (nitrophile float etc) 7psi will be a sneeze to what it can handle.
