Which is better, a msd 6 or 7

I found a first generation msd programmable 7 7530 and the much newer 6al2 programmable for the same price. What is the better box? I will be using this with nitrous.

The 7530 is a racing only ignition box and is only used with the racing ignition coils.
Not sure if the present Graph View software is backward compatible that far.

I did some reading on other forums and they said that they will work on the street as long as they are kept cool and a mild coil is used. I'm just going to go with the 6 for simplicity and as you said, the program for the original 7 might not be available. The 6 has everything I need, the data logging on the 7 would be nice though. It was very difficult to find any information on the original digital 7 since it is such an old ignition.
