How do i get the ea cpi to run closed loop o2?

whats a webber or lpg got to do with the o2 sensor...?...... all u do is relay the injector power so that its of on gas.. the ecu still tries to fire the injectors there just isnt any power to them

Pete, the way I understand it the O2 sensor is used by the ECU to trim the fuel settings dynamically, by detecting rich or lean operation. Unless your ECU is able to do this on your carb or gas gear the sensor information is irrelevant.

As said above, a relay is used to switch off the injectors when operating on gas. If you're using a carb I'm guessing you no longer have injectors, and your ECU is now redundant unless you're somehow using it for spark advance...

Do you have a new dizzy for this conversion? You'll need to set up the vacuum operated spark advance. Have a look at this other topic on this forum. Get the dizzy and coil (as a pair) suited to the carb you have.
