just pulled the 2v down to find what went wrong busted ring lands on no3 piston.
so being 10/15 year old acl pistons i doubt i can get 1 and with a slight lip in the bore and slightly different pistons most likly going to have smashed rings.
so here's the plan
get new block out to 30 is possible 40 if not
200xflow rods with 200rod250 pistons acl 2ring match weight the rods and pistons take as much weight off the pistons as possible.
rebalance crank to rods assemble up.
now can i put the pistons and rids in or where there different deck heights between the xflow and log that may affect it?
also sagestions on cams for the beast its got a 2v that will have a elec dizzy to suit wanting soild and to pull hard from 3000rpm to 5000rpm.
also save getting anther block could you bore a old log 250 out to 50 or 60 and not having heating drama's
