Will a xfow cam fit in a Pre x-flow???

hi all,
my turbo 250 2v stripped a dizzy gear and took the teeth off the cam with it gggrrrr, pissed off.
what i need to know is will a xflow camshaft fit in a pre xflow block i dont have one in the shed to compare.

Won't work; the lobes are in a different order. What brand was the distributor gear?

of course they are, stupid me. the gear i dont know what brand it was, i had it rebuilt and modified with a boost retard module on it, but i dont know what brand it was.

they do fit but you end up with a rough idle
